So a few weeks ago I stumbled across this Buzzfeed article appropriately titled, “These Photos Prove Exactly How Much Real Estate Photos Matter” and it went on to explain how one photographer, Harry Lim, was rephotographing houses that had been listed for sale.
One had been listed for 8 months and after he had re-shot photos of the house, it sold in 8 days.
You see, experienced photographers know where the best angles are and how to light things properly like buildings and interiors (and products and people and so on). It’s important to understand that it’s not just owning the expensive equipment or camera, but how to use it properly and utilizing that.
You could go out and buy the best surgical tools on the market, but it’s still not going to help you perform brain surgery. And please don’t try. That’s terrifying.
More often than not, it’s the quality that’s put into every aspect of the job that really makes it sing. Not just quality equipment or software to edit. But also the quality of the knowledge that’s being put to use, the quality of the attention to detail and care that’s put into planning, prepping, lighting, shooting, and editing.
Many of us have spent a TON of time learning to master our craft.
Many of us are still constantly learning to make sure we remain experts in the field and stay up to date with current events, trends, and changes.
And if anyone’s like me, you’ve taken on a lot of debt in the process and pursuit of a happier place to be.
It’s key to understand why it’s so critical to hire professionals to do the tasks that you cannot do adequately. That’s why we’re here! We’re here to help you and serve you. We want you to have the best experience and results possible.
We want to hit that sweet spot of chasing our dreams and fulfilling your needs at the same damn time.
Well, it’s not really that crazy. There are quite a few photographers making a living these days in the U.S. I’m positive there’s plenty to choose from that could help you out in whatever specific problems you may have. It’s kind of why we’re here.
If you’re someone that’s totally confused and unsure of where to start when finding the right photographer for you, let me know. I have recommendations of SO many amazing photographers local to me (Washington) and more nationally known. Plus resources to help you find them yourself.
We are literally trained to help you solve your problems (photographically speaking of course) and want to be of service to you, consistently and indefinitely.
Cheers to sun, art, and fun,
